MBA in Construction

The aim of the project is to establish a new postgraduate course “MBA in Construction”. The new
postgraduate course is designed for graduates from Faculties of Civil Engineering in Croatia. This
programme is intended for engineers dealing with managerial jobs on construction projects, as
well as for those involved in corporate management. The success of the project will serve as a basis
for establishing a “Management in Construction Centre of Excellence” for civil engineers from other
Central and Eastern Europe countries, in order to spread knowledge within the region. This project
has two very important outcomes: a strong and direct impact on the development and upgrading
of higher education in the field of construction management in this region. Moreover, as the
students of this postgraduate course are young professionals already working in the construction
industry, by implementing their new knowledge in practice they will directly contribute to the
speeding up of reconstruction and development processes in the region.
